
Xiaomi returns to the Eletrolar Show in 2024
With the aim of getting closer to medium and small retailers, China’s Xiaomi is returning to the Eletrolar Show in 2024. According to the head of Xiaomi’s operations in Brazil, Luciano Barbosa, the fair is part of the company’s new business strategy. “Our participation in Eletrolar will be strategic precisely to strengthen this relationship with medium and small retailers,” says the executive. This year, the company is presenting more than 500 products during the event, which began on Monday (15) at the Transamérica Expo in São Paulo and runs until July 18.
One of the largest global companies in the sales of smart devices, it has been present in Brazil for just over five years and is already celebrating its consolidation as one of the technology brands most desired by consumers. Its portfolio ranges from smartphones to a complete mix of smart solutions for lighting, home appliances, security, travel, audio and beauty and health.
The brand has more than 8,000 official points of sale throughout Brazil, through partnerships with major retailers. In addition, Xiaomi has invested in the convenience store model, which is part of its plan to expand its operations to the country’s main cities.
The official points of sale are located in the largest shopping centers in 16 states: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso do Sul, Ceará, Bahia, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Maranhão, Sergipe, Rio Grande do Norte and Pará.
