The major date for e-commerce, physical stores also embark on it, since this year’s Black Friday is special with expected revenue of 20% to 25% higher than in 2020. “This number is not yet official, but the event will be positive for 2 factors: the first is due to the pandemic, 16 million Brazilians for the first time, made purchases via the internet in 2020, the second is the opening of 150 thousand stores in the same year, as a result consumers and companies better prepared for 2021”, says Maurício Salvador, president of the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (Associação Brasileira de Comércio Eletrônico – ABComm).
Research done by the association, partnered with NeoTrust/Compre&Confie, showed that 2020 Black Friday sales surpassed R$5.1 billion, 31% more in comparison with the same period in 2019. The average ticket price also increased last year, R$ 668.70, which is 5.1% higher than the price registered in 2019. In revenue, the categories that generated the highest returns were telephony, appliances, ventilation, computers, cameras, entertainment, furniture, construction, and decoration.
In the balance-sheet of the last five years, household appliances, electronics, computers, fashion, health, and beauty were the most sought-after products. With the pandemic, new categories went into promotion, such as supermarkets, food, and alcohol that, even with a lower price, registered higher sales frequency. Today, the prices are competitive, and it stopped the practice to overestimate the product price to discount it at the date. “The consumer himself took charge in punishing these companies, and now there is promotion monitoring”, affirms Maurício.
Fascination

Why does Black Friday fascinate consumers? “It is the closest date to Christmas. Consequently, lots of people started the habit of anticipating their shopping. 30% of last year’s sales were anticipation for Christmas. Another fascination factor is the real promotions, many extend to take advantage of low prices. And there is another one, stronger in e-commerce, that is word-of-mouth. “When people find good promotions they share within their network, generating spontaneous media”, says ABComm president.
The date that in Brazil started gaining attractiveness in the e-commerce space, is also an opportunity for companies to replace their losses that may have occurred throughout the year. After all, it is the second most important after Christmas. “Both end up saving the industry. In terms of revenue, Christmas surpasses 3 to 4 times Black Friday as the promotion is one-day only, while Christmas extends for a longer period”, says Maurício.
In this year’s Black Friday, it is fundamental that companies prepare themselves to surprise consumers with good discounts that, in average, go from 15% – 30% and, in some cases, up to 50% like in those products with low circulation, because stuck inventory means losses. It is important to monitor logistics to comply with delivery times. As volume is higher, a delivery estimate of 4 to 8 days is reasonable for discounted purchases” says Maurício. ANKER

The battery lasts up to four hours. It has carrying handles.

They have the same mouth power, from 1.7 kW to 3.3 kW. The trivets are individual, made of cast iron, stronger and more secure. The Magister floor cooker, available with 4 and 5 burners, has an oven with two grills, 100 liters (5 burner version) and 60 liters (4 burner version). The oven door has a built-in handle, which follows the table design.



BRIGHT
One of its highlights is the 599 wireless cell phone charger, compatible with induction technology (QI). It has a Bluetooth connection for listening to music, hands-free answering on phone calls and FM radio. The charger, which informs the ambient temperature, has a clock, alarm, USB connection and a one-year warranty. It weighs 0.292 kg.
Another brand product for Black Friday is the C05 Bluetooth speaker. Among its differentials, is the battery with autonomy of five hours. It has a Bluetooth connection, microphone (karaoke), USB and micro-USB inputs. Its power reaches up to 100 W.


BRITÂNIA
For Black Friday presents the BRF533ID refrigerator and the Oven BFR2100P electric fryer. The first has stainless steel finish, Side by Side doors and a water dispenser on the door. The main differential is the Inverter compressor, which guarantees energy savings, works silently, and gives the product a longer service life. The refrigerator is frost free, has SmartSensor and several operating modes, which can be adjusted on the digital panel.
The Oven BFR2100P fryer has been conquering Brazilian kitchens, as it is an evolution of the air fryer, highlights the brand. Versatile and functional, it has a power of 1800 W. It is a deep fryer and an electric oven. It also dehydrates food. It has a digital panel, internal light, and air flow technology, which circulates hot air at 360 °C, providing agility and uniformity in preparation.


CADENCE E OSTER
Oil-free fryers are Cadence’s bet. The Cook Fryer Master model has a capacity of 5.5 liters, temperature control ranging from 90 ºC to 200 ºC, time of up to 30 minutes and timer with audible warning. It has a Hot Air Technology system, power of 1,700W (127 V) and 1,800W (220 V), with 3-liter capacity and digital control with seven pre-programmed functions. Another fryer is the Pratic Fryer, with also a 3-liter capacity, 1,250W power and a temperature range of 90ºC to 200ºC. It has a basket with removable tray.
With the Oster brand, the highlights are the upright vacuum cleaners with cord or battery, and the robot version. In copper color, available in 127V and 220V, the Powerful Compact has 1,400 W of power, speed control, automatic cord reeling, 2-liter reservoir, washable bag, full collector indicator, and two extension tubes. The wire is 6.4 m. Another vacuum cleaner, the Keep Clean Robot, with 20W of power, allows you to schedule cleaning. It has four functions, three pre-programmed modes, one hour of autonomy, 250 ml reservoir, HEPA filter and four anti-impact and anti-drop sensors. Automatically returns to base for recharge.




ELSYS
One of the options for the date is Smarty, a central hub to integrate all equipment within the concept of a connected home. It is an Android TV compatible with Google Assistant, with voice control and integrates with other branded products such as smart lamp, switch and sockets. Allows you to access apps like Disney+, HBOMax, Telecine, DirecTVGO, Netflix, and Globoplay on any TV with HDMI input. It also interacts with WiFi cameras and video intercom.
