MORE THAN 300 BRANDS PARTICIPATED IN THE 3rd ELECTRONICS HOME IN ARGENTINA
Fair surpassed previous editions in national and international releases and in number of exhibitors and visitors.
The 3rd edition of Electronics Home, held from the 17th to the 19th of last July, at Centro Costa Salguero, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, presented more than 300 national and international brands in the categories of home appliances, electronics, small appliances, cell phones, games, computers and housewares. Largest B2B event in the country, it brought together exhibitors and retailers in a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange experiences and generate more business.
“We were very happy with the high number of launches, including world-class ones, with the innovations and the public’s interest in the lectures, which addressed important topics. We surpassed in all aspects the numbers of the previous editions. The event demonstrated that, although the economic context is not easy, the industry wants to be a protagonist in Argentina’s economy”, said Carlos Clur, president at Grupo Eletrolar.
The fair had releases and trends in several categories, from gamers to refrigerators. In Argentina, the gamer community has grown a lot in the pandemic, it is estimated that, of the 3 billion gamers in the world, there are more than 22 million in the country. In refrigerators, the novelties were the KOH-I-NOOR Black Steel KHGF41D/8 and CHD41D/9 models with No Frost DuoCooling Technology, by Columbia; the horizontal freezer FR3322 Inverter, by Briket; The Frost-Free Inverter Electrolux; and the Gafa upright freezer. Also noteworthy are Dibra‘s gasoline cutters and their equipment with new Honda engines, and the innovative Element line, presented by the mattress manufacturer Springwall.

“We participated in this fair again to present our products, especially the launches of the Frost-Free Inverter Electrolux refrigerators and the Gafa vertical freezer”, said Oswaldo Fascetti, commercial manager at Electrolux. Made in Argentina, with high technology, the refrigerator significantly reduces energy consumption. Made an exclusive launch at Electronics Home. It presented the NBX brand, a new proposal from Noblex, with which it intends to have a relevant performance in the gaming segment. The innovative portfolio of accessories and peripherals comprises the NBXGM2700 Full HD 27” monitor, with Adaptive Sync technology, two keyboard models, NBX KB1000M and NBX-KB3000CH, two mouse models, NBX-MS07210 and NBX-MS12010, and the ergonomic chair gaming case NBX-575N. “The numbers of gamers in Argentina have driven us to enter the market with an extremely attractive proposition, with superior quality products and competitive prices”, said Eugenia Olguín, head of IT & gaming product.

The lectures took place in the three days of the fair. Santiago Capriata, specialist in Whirlpool brands, made the official presentation of the company’s new factory in Pilar, province of Buenos Aires: “It is the most modern Whirlpool factory in the world, with an area of over 30,000 sqm and an investment of US$ 56 million. It has high technology and has a sustainable plant, with a focus on caring for the environment,” he said.
Sebastián Vallarino Raimondi, HP Managed Services Solutions Architect, spoke about security and cyberattacks in Argentina. The future of commerce and the home was the topic of Damián Di Pace, journalist for A24 and LN+, specialized in economy and markets, who addressed the confluence between digital and physical. “We need to rethink the business, digital is no longer absolute. People want to have a social experience. There is coexistence between the two worlds.” He also spoke about the 5G connection and the great advance it will bring. “Peer-to-peer communication between people, without the need for servers, between vehicles, metaverse IoT, enhanced virtual reality and telemedicine will be the connection of the future.”
Guillermo Contarino, motorcycle business manager at Newsan, addressed aspects of mobility and the company’s launches for 2024. “With our next launch, we seek to lead the electric motorcycle market, which has high potential to grow and be a very important segment. .”
