Electronics Reverse Logistics Managment – GREEN ELETRON
CONSUMER DEMANDS COMMITMENT FROM THE BRANDS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT
Our concern with the planet is an ongoing topic ever more present in discussions worldwide. They range from how we preserve our natural resources, forests and how we care for rivers and oceans, and in more specific terms, how consumers prefer those companies engaged and working towards decreasing their negative impact.
The Instituto Akatu study Vida Saudável e Sustentável 2020 (Healthy and Sustainable Living 2020) shows that 81% of consumers ask that brands disclose their manufacturing practices, 70% want those that reduce climate change impact and 65% want them to establish goal to make the world better. The majority hopes that companies assure that their operations don´t harm the environment (79%), their products (78%) and materials (71%). And that is not all: 81% are interested in recycling their waste.
The study reinforces that Brazilians are concerned, therefore, requiring that brands become greener. Those that are not concerned with their impact will be questioned by the public – or even ignored. To be green is no longer a competitive advantage, it is a pre-requisite.
To be able to count with an efficient reverse logistic system guarantees a proper destination of post-consumer products, ensuring the brands are in accordance with the law, and helps the consumer to discard correctly. To build a more responsible and productive cycle and align it with the moment we are currently on, is the solution.
