The covid-19 pandemic has significantly changed the business environment. In view of the isolation measures, the alternative found by the companies was digitalization. Consumers, in turn, were forced to find other ways to meet the new needs imposed by the moment.
With the gradual return of economic activity, the expectation is for continued growth in sales in the sector, with the integration of online and offline channels that provides the consumer with the best omnichannel experience. The digitalization process goes from urgency to the maturing of sales strategies.
In this sense, Black Friday will follow the trend of previous years, but with the difference that the consumer will have more access to information and even if one decides to make a purchase in a physical retail space, he will be able to use the digital channel to compare prices and make a more assertive choice. This is the difference with the integration of sales channels.
After all, it is crucial for companies to be careful when designing sales strategies and building stocks on promotional dates. It must consider that the pandemic is still ongoing, and many uncertainties permeate the economic and social environments.
