Electronics Home – Towards the 3rd edition
Fair held in Argentina, follows the positive steps of Eletrolar Show & Latin American Electronics.
The realization of Electronics Home for the third consecutive year, from July 20 to 22, 2020, at the Centro Costa Salguero, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, demonstrates the importance of the initiatives that contribute to the generation of business and consequent growth of the sector. Exhibitors who participated in the first two editions of the fair confirmed their presence next year, taking into account the good opportunities offered that foster a virtuous circle of purchase, sale, relationship and business.
Last year, the trade fair received more than 3,000 executives from Argentina and Latin America, who got to know the launches in more than 15 categories. Among them are home appliances, televisions and home theaters, wearables, mobile phones, well-being, LED and lighting, audio and video, IT, computers and accessories, toys and games, electro portables, personal care and beauty, household appliances, decoration and automotive, a total of over 300 brands.
In more difficult times, such as those that South America has been living, industry and retail need to get closer and join efforts to outline competitive strategies and outline joint actions that allow reactivating the domestic market, opening new horizons and boosting sales. “When there are many challenges to overcome, it takes creativity and courage to analyze and evaluate which are the competitive solutions and which may even change the pace of business,” says Carlos Clur, president of the Grupo Eletrolar, organizer of the fair.
Current debates
Electronics Home is backed by Eletrolar Show & Latin American Electronics, the largest trade fairs for electronics, home appliances, mobile phones, housewares and IT, which has been held for 15 years by the group in the city of São Paulo. In 2020, it will have an additional area of 10,000 m² to receive more exhibitors from Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru, as well as buyers from these markets. “The Argentinean fair has been growing and following the positive steps of the Eletrolar Show & Latin American Electronics,” emphasizes Carlos.
During Electronics Home will be held, as in previous years, a workshop with experts to address market trends in South America, the potential of the region and consumer behavior of products that will be represented at the fair. In its first year of operation, the workshop addressed the new currencies, such as bitcoin. In the second year, the themes were retail 4.0, digital payments and how companies should adapt to new technologies.
