Color Trend 2026: Marcelo Rosenbaum Leading the Color Trends for Plastics

Executive Director of INP and Projects at Think Plastic Brazil
The 2026 edition of Color Trend, the international color trend guide for the transformed plastics sector, will be curated by Marcelo Rosenbaum, a renowned Brazilian architect and designer. The launch event will take place on April 8, 2025, during the IV World Plastic Connection Summit, held from April 8 to 10 at Novotel Center Norte in São Paulo.
With his cultural sensitivity and innovative vision, Rosenbaum will bring a unique approach, highlighting narratives and colors that reflect the richness of Brazilian culture. This edition is set to revolutionize the market, positioning Brazil as a global leader in design and innovation.
One of the key innovations is See Color, a tactile language method developed by Sandra Regina Marchi from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). This tool enhances accessibility by including people with visual impairments and color blindness in the creative process.
The Color Trend 2026 not only explores new colors and concepts but also reaffirms the industry’s commitment to inclusion and sustainability. Registrations for the event, which brings together the industry’s key players and places Brazil at the center of the global plastics market, are now open on the Summit’s website.
