AFTER-SALES GROWS 1.19% IN SERVICE IN 2023
Despite socioeconomic factors, ABRASA showed a significant growth of 1.19% in the number of service orders (OS) made in 2023 compared to 2022. This index was achieved due to the low purchasing power of a large group of consumers, at high interest rates for financing the acquisition of new products and the large number of repairs caused by adverse weather conditions.
However, we cannot compare financial results at the same level of growth in work orders due to high administrative, operational and parts replacement costs. There is also the problem of taxes and amounts paid in the average ticket charged by manufacturers and insurers of extended warranty services, which could be better balanced to stimulate the sector.
In 2024, the expectations of electronics after-sales service providers are promising, but we emphasize that, for the sustainability of the sector, it is necessary to continue searching for new businesses, partnerships, and practices, as well as carrying out training.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is important for improving websites, as they are easy means of dissemination and help to bring customers closer to technical assistance. The more identification there is between the two parties, the better. The important thing is to always offer the best service, experiences and conveniences to customers.
