AFTER-SALES SECTOR GROWTH IN 2023
Surveys carried out by Abrasa point to a growth trend of 0.87% in the number of service orders issued by the after-sales technical assistance service providers sector in 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
The analysis of the annual evolutionary rates of products’ repair shows that from five years to now, there has been growth in the lines of cell phones, 4K smart TVs, refrigerators, washers and dryers of the latest generation, much more efficient items and with Inverter technology, which reduces energy consumption.
The increase in demand for technical assistance services was also observed in sound systems, notebooks and video games, equipment present in most Brazilian homes. The scenario is justified by the high added value of these products and the country’s socioeconomic situation which makes customers opt for the maintenance of their home appliances and electronics.
