ABREE – The union of the home appliances and consumer electronics sector in the pandemic
We are living unprecedented times in these first months of 2020, and the sector of home appliances and consumer electronics is in a challenging scenario of a reorganization of the operation to adapt the factories and the corporative in order to follow the authorities recommendations to preserve employees’ health and help in the Covid-19 containment.
ABREE, which has a commitment to sustainability since it has social as a pillar, has kept up all its associates and is very proud to see many support options to the Brazilian population. Many of them produced to donate equipment such as air circulators, facial protectors, laptops, and smartphones to the field hospitals. They also donated masks and alcohol gel.
“We are very proud to see that the challenges in keeping the operations in an unknown scenario did not supplant the will in supporting the population.”
This union will make the sector comes out different from this pandemic, as it will happen with all of us. We are very proud to see that the challenges in keeping the operations in an unknown scenario did not supplant the will in supporting the population.
In this so challenging year, it is also important to the manufacturers and importers of consumer electronics and home appliances to affiliate with managing entities, such as ABREE. Together, we will continue to support the society, contributing to the products recycling and thus legally complying with the published federal decree.
