LACK OF COMPONENTS AFFECTS AFTER-SALES SERVICES

Executive Director Of The Brazilian Association Of After-Sales In Electro-Electronics
Notwithstanding the category of after-sales service providers for technical assistance in electronics has been considered essential by the Committee of Covid-19 of the State of São Paulo and with the same understanding in Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and other cities in the country, any threat can harm the work of professionals in this sector.
During the pandemic, technical assistance worked uninterruptedly, respecting of course, all the protocols required by the inspection services, but now they are starting to face a very serious problem, which is the lack of parts and components.
We noticed a significant shortage of parts and components with the growing demand for repairs. We remind you that, with the increase in sales, it is natural that a greater number of products will be taken to technical assistance places, but due to the shortage of parts, they are unable to provide immediate service.
The problem could get even worse in the coming months, mostly due to the increase in the price of some spare parts. After-sales service providers will not be able to serve consumers with immediate repairs. In addition, costs may make repairs unfeasible. Abrasa has been working to find a satisfactory solution for both sides.
