Although the novel coronavirus pandemic has uniquely affected the electronics sector, particularly in April and May 2020, since a rebound began last month of June – with the gradual opening of retail in major cities – we were able to experience a little encouraged by the very difficult situation at the beginning of the second quarter.
We ended the first half of 2020 with the brown line down 4%, the small home appliances line down 19% and the white line down 31%. These are hard numbers, but they could have been much worse if it hadn’t been for a response from our economy, sparked by a series of federal and parliamentary measures to ensure business and business families can go through the most serious period of all this situation.

We remain confident that dates like Black Friday and Christmas should also boost demand, which would lead us to minimize our losses. This would be the ideal scenario so that by the end of this turbulent 2020 we can enjoy some stability and foster hopes for better days.
