Brazil Mobile Convention: Grupo Eletrolar’s new event for the smartphone market debuts in 2025
The meeting is scheduled for March 22 and 23, at the new Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo.
The Brazil Mobile Convention aims to serve a dynamic sector that works exclusively with mobile products, offering a dedicated space for business, networking and the launch of new technologies.
One thing is certain: Brazilians like to communicate. It is no wonder that the smartphone and accessories market is currently one of the largest in Brazilian retail. It contributed 13.2% of total e-commerce revenue in 2023 and reached a total of BRL19.7 billion, according to a survey by the eCommerce Brasil portal.
Another striking figure, this time raised by a survey by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), is that Brazil has more smartphones than inhabitants. There are 258 million devices in use, or the equivalent of 1.2 per person. It is the fifth country with the largest number of smartphones – behind only China, India, the United States and Indonesia. And if we add tablets, wearables and laptops to this, the number of digital devices rises to 2.2 per inhabitant.
Faced with this huge market, the Grupo Eletrolar All Connected decided to invest in a brand dedicated to the world of mobile devices: CBM – Convenção Brasil Mobile (Brazil Mobile Convention), which will take place in the new Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo, on March 22 and 23, 2025.
This initiative aims to serve a dynamic sector that works exclusively with mobile products, offering a dedicated space for business, networking and the launch of new technologies.
“Over the past 10 years, cell phones have been the best-selling product in the electronics sector. In addition to being essential, they have become a status symbol and deserved an exclusive event. At this event, visitors will have a broad view of the challenges and opportunities of the current market”, says Carlos Clur, president at Grupo Eletrolar All Connected.
