Expectations for 2024: environmental education and traveling campaigns
As we enter the year 2024, ABREE sees a promising scenario both in terms of environmental education and in the conduct of itinerant fundraising campaigns. Committed to sustainability and environmental preservation, the association aims to boost awareness and practice sustainable habits among the Brazilian population.
Through strategic partnerships with government entities, the private sector and NGOs, ABREE plans to promote the relevance of recycling electronics and household appliances, in addition to cultivating an understanding of the positive and negative impacts associated with recycling these items.
Aware that countless citizens keep obsolete or useless devices at home, the entity will also focus its efforts on itinerant fundraising campaigns. These actions aim to simplify the proper disposal of these items and reach different regions of the country.
Furthermore, considering the logistical challenge due to Brazil’s territorial extension, one of the objectives for 2024 is to significantly expand the number of reception points, which in 2023 already totaled more than 4 thousand, covering more than 1.3 thousand municipalities.
Therefore, in 2024, ABREE renews its commitment to environmental education and itinerant fundraising campaigns, focusing not only on awareness and mobilization, but also on creating strategic partnerships and establishing quantifiable goals to expand its positive impact on society.
