Artificial Intelligence Solutions Highlighted at Eletrolar Show & Latin American Electronics 2019
The 14th edition of the largest fair of durable goods in Latin America uniquely presented products that will arrive in the windows from the second half of this year.
Sao Paulo, August 2019 – Recognized as the largest consumer durable goods fair in Latin America, Eletrolar Show & Latin American Electronics presented to the most important executives from the national industry and retail and neighboring countries in Sao Paulo, the latest news and the latest technological advances in products such as home appliances, consumer electronics, small appliances, mobile phones, wearables, wellness, IT and Houseware.
For the first time, the iSummit for Artificial Intelligence for Retail was held, a congress on the importance of this technology for the retail sector.
There were four days of meeting between industry and retail at the fair held from July 29 to August 1 at the Transamerica Expo Center, in the city of São Paulo. Carlos Clur, president of the Grupo Eletrolar, announced the launch of Electronics Home & Mobile Latin American Edition, the exclusive trade show for consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile phones and IT sector, which will take place for the first time in Miami, Florida (USA), May 18-20, 2020.
“We are preparing an event with the main trends of the sector. We want to provide good business for visitors and exhibitors, as well as provide insights that generate insights to leverage retail sales, ”says Carlos Clur, president of the Grupo Eletrolar.
Research firm GfK uniquely presented at a conference during the event, a study that reveals an 8% growth in revenues in the first half of 2019 compared to the same period in 2018. The forecast for 2019 is up 5%. .
This year, the connected home and IoT (Internet of Things) devices were the highlights of the fair, with the presentation and several new features that will attract consumers this semester. “Retail sales are expected to grow in the coming months. That’s why the brands brought to the fair the most innovative products to attract the increasingly demanding consumer ”, adds Carlos Clur.
About 10,000 products from 700 brands in the white and brown, laptop, IT, telephony, automotive, wellness, home appliances, furniture, services, sports and leisure categories were presented to representatives of over 30,000 points. sales throughout the national territory.
