In an area of 300 m², the smart home blended innovation and connectivity. With products decorating the rooms of the house, it was one of the great differentials of the 15th Eletrolar Show. The concept house, with interior design by Josiane Cauduro, it was sponsored by Alexa and LG, with co-sponsorship of Positivo Tecnologia, TCL, Gree and Atlas, and support of Rcell, Geonav, Itatiaia and Mallory. Alexa
At the entrance to the space, visitors were welcomed by the smart assistant Alexa, who, in all other areas of the house, interacted with devices such as the Smart TV, air conditioning, remote controls and switches, among other devices.
A highlight was the launch of the Echo Show 15, designed to be the home’s digital hub. He sets the alarm, turns on the lights, and raises and lowers the curtain. It also exposed the entire Fire TV device line with Alexa.
“In Brazil, there are many opportunities to sell Alexa because of the increased demand for smart homes,” said Carolina Gimenez, leader of the offline channel for Amazon devices.
LG
The company presented several high-tech solutions and products for the connected home. Among them, OLED and QNED televisions, the Dual Inverter Voice Artcool UV Nano air conditioner, which sterilizes bacteria, the Instaview refrigerator, the Grill microwave, and the 14kg Smart dryer and the Puricare air purifier.
“We have the largest line of connected home products. Connectivity is essential when choosing a product. Since 2015, we have been working with an application and now, with the entry of 5G, there will be a greater number of connections. Anyone who does not have a product with connectivity will be late”, said Sonah Lee, marketing director at LG Electronics.
Most of the brand’s products have the exclusive LG ThinQ technology, which uses artificial intelligence to control and monitor the devices by voice command or remotely. With the ThinQ app, you can activate appliances with just one touch. The Output Mode setting allows all TVs to be automatically turned off when leaving the house, as well as air conditioning and smart bulbs.
Clean and safe house
Positivo Tecnologia took the the area launches such as the vacuum robot, with voice command through the application. The battery of the device has autonomy for 100 minutes. Among the launches of Elsys, Hipcam is an autonomous and intelligent concierge for access through facial recognition. The company also presented new intelligent security cameras, suitable for homes and apartments.
In automated lighting solutions, he showed Wi-Fi, dichroic and filament smart bulbs. It also presented the new 220 V three-phase inverter for photovoltaic solar system, with Wi-Fi connection, for real-time monitoring of energy generation. “We invited retailers to get to know our products and solutions,” said the president Claudio Blatt.
Technology and comfort
New models of televisions, air conditioners and cell phones were presented by SEMP TCL. The brand showed concept products available in the international market, such as the largest television currently available in the world, and its novelties for the Brazilian market.
“Visitors had the opportunity to see up close and experience the most advanced technologies in televisions, soundbars and other categories, as well as learn about our connected home innovations,” said marketing manager Camila Nagamine.
Present in Brazil for over 20 years, Gree launched the G-Diamond TOP, an air conditioning unit with a sophisticated and innovative design. It is the first in Brazil with BlackFin Technology, ensuring more resistance and longer useful life. Clean technology eliminates 99.99% of viruses and bacteria. It also presented the G-Top Inverter, developed to optimize space, and ensure comfort in an environment free of noise and impurities. “We have more and more modern and innovative products,” said commercial director Nicolaus Cheng.
Connected kitchen
Atlas marked its presence at the fair with a new line of smart products with voice command via virtual assistants, such as Alexa. One of its major launches was the app-controlled kitchen with hood, induction cooktop and electric oven, which will be on the market next year. We are in the context of developing practical solutions, according to consumer demand”, said the commercial director Clóvis Simões. In the intelligent space, he exposed the Dako Diplomata hood.
With a capacity of 53 liters, the Wi-Fi air fryer, with voice command via Alexa, was one of the highlights of Itatiaia in the connected home. The product has seven pre-programmed functions and a 60-minute digital timer. It also presented the Master Itatiaia pressure cooker, with voice command and 12 pre-programmed functions. “We believe that consumers are increasingly seeking comfort through high-tech products. Wi-Fi is a differential”, said marketing director Michel Moura.
Mallory presented smart products that provide practicality to the user. Among them, the digital Aroma Thermic coffee maker, which allows you to program the brewing time, and the PurificaAR Plus, which sterilizes the environment and prevents bacteria from returning to it. The product is dual voltage. “Mallory is focused on the health of the environment,” said the company’s executive vice president, Annette de Castro.
Connectivity and economy
With more than 40 types of connected home devices, Geonav has taken solutions for more economical and sustainable environments. The company launched an energy meter that balances consumption. In the case of using solar energy, the meter informs how much energy the consumer is injecting into the grid.
“Products with connectivity bring comfort, economy and practicality. Controlling lighting and television, for example, is a convenience,” said director Rafael Assa. The brand also launched smart locks, including one that allows you to program the opening time of the door and another for condominiums, with three locks.
Rcell presented the products of Rsmart, its business unit focused on the line of smart products for home automation. Among the highlights are the Smart Wi-Fi Lamp, the Smart Wi-Fi socket and the Smart Wi-Fi universal control. “IoT-related products will see annual sales growth of 30% per year. Young people are born connected”, said CMO Alexandre Elias Della Volpe.
